Yard Goat Driver
- Ensure that yard and related yard equipment is clean, orderly and in safe operating condition; inspects all empty equipment for cleanliness and for any damage; reporting any damages to supervisor
- Ensures that all loads are properly secured
- Maintains safety rules at all times
- Ensures all equipment doors are properly secured to the side of the equipment prior to movement
- Assist 3rd party carriers reposition equipment as necessary
Driver must have at least 1 year yard driver experience.
- Minimum one year driving experience
- Able to speak, read and write English
- Yard tractor operator certification and training
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform well with time-sensitive tasks; multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends is required
- Overtime may be required
- Ability to lift material weighing 50 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 75 pounds
