About The Role:
We are seeking a strategic, visionary leader who can roll their sleeves up and architect a best in class communications framework that informs clients, partners, consumers and employees Tubi's vision.
This role will oversee communications efforts including employee and executive communications, PR, thought leadership, awards and industry recognition. This person will manage a small team that brings to life the intersection of technology, media, and entertainment.
Responsibilities:
- Create the messaging pillars and external communications strategy that will propel Tubi as the leading ad-supported streaming platform.
- Act as lead communication catalyst for the platform and create unique and compelling company and product/technology narratives to continue to raise our profile and elevate our brand in the market.
- Develop PR strategy, assembling persuasive content and story angles to proactively pitch to reporters, editors and producers in appropriate press verticals.
- Devise news angles to coordinate response to incoming press queries as well as editorial calendar opportunities.
- Advance the strategy and voice for executive communications; including speaking engagements, media interviews, social media channels, and internal communications.
- Partner with FOX to establish analyst relations programs with the industry's experts for ongoing communication and education of industry analysts, facilitating analyst briefings and interviews and preparing analyst briefing tours, presentations, and documents.
- Recognize impactful viewership trends translating those insights into actionable ideas into a cohesive communications strategy.
- Develop proactive and reactive communications strategies to address issues that could impact the company's vision. Develop a readiness strategy for crisis, unexpected and time sensitive situations.
- Develop, manage, and execute earned events and awards strategy.
- Partner with People team to develop internal communication strategy and execution that drives culture and company pillars.
Your Background:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of proven communications experience in corporate/executive communications with a focus on data, technology or platforms and a strong emphasis on public affairs.
- You can take technical and analytic concepts and communicate them in simple and compelling ways.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high impact strategic external communication plans and results.
- Well versed in managing complex issues and multiple priorities with sound judgment and adaptability.
- Strong media relations experience and relationships not only with traditional journalists but with emerging outlets.
- Expert knowledge of the data, ad tech and privacy industry.
- Excellent writer and detail-oriented editor with knowledge of journalistic style.
- Accomplished communicator and presenter with a track record of success and exceptional business partnering at all levels of an organization.
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $215,000.00 - $240,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY; $193,500.00 - $216,000.00 annually for Colorado. This role is also eligible for {an annual discretionary bonus, a sales incentive compensation plan, a commission plan, other}, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
