Technician

VCA East Penn Animal Hospital is looking for a charismatic , energetic and engaging individual for our full-time Veterinary Technician Position. We are seeking ad dedicated individual who can bond with our clients while providing top notch service. VCA East Penn Animal Hospital is an AAHA accredited three doctor small animal practice located in Emmaus Pennsylvania. As a hospital we strive to create a positive and fun work environment for our employees with an emphasis on team work and work-life balance. We pride ourselves on having excellent client service while providing exceptional care to all of our patients and clients. Applicants should be able to work a mixture of days and evenings, as well as rotating weekends. The ideal candidate will be proficient in following areas and qualifications below:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Venipuncture

Catheter Placement

Radiology

Anesthesia Monitoring

Physical examinations and patient assessment

Surgical preparation and assisting

Dentistry

Laboratory work

Pharmacy

Compassionate care for hospitalized patients

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have documented previous experience

Hold a current CVT/RVT license (preferred but not required)

Flexibility in hours including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays

Customer service skills

Working knowledge of computers

Excellent communication skills

Capable of being cross-trained as CSR

Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
