DescriptionThe Vendor Partnership Manager is responsible for assisting in the building of relationships with preferred vendor partners that provide products and services to the Paul Davis Network. The Vendor Partnership Manager monitors a subset of vendors to ensure compliance with company policies and ensures that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations. A successful Vendor Partnership Manager will have the ability to influence decisions, educate the customer and ensure the usage of established vendor programs. A strong ability to sell the vendor partners to the Network and encourage the use of such partners is key to this role.
Competency – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Manage a subset of existing partnership categories· Assist with examining and reviewing existing contracts for updates, edits, and renewals· Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms for the Paul Davis network of franchisees including rebate opportunities for the company· Increase the adoption and use of vendor programs· Track and report key metrics · Educate and communicate with franchise offices and PDRI team members on opportunities with vendor partners to increase profitability through both virtual and in-person trainings· Assist in semi-annual district meetings to increase awareness of opportunities with vendors· Manage the day-to-day activity of the Vendor Information Portal· Ability to partner with Paul Davis departments to ensure a clear understanding of the programs and promote usage of them· Support Training team with on-site trainings, host vendor events to educate new owners, and promote essential pre-opening programs as the new owners go through their onboarding journey· Impeccable Integrity· Maintain a positive attitude, while being passionate, energetic, and humble· Self-starter with an eagerness to learn and grow within the organization· Talent in negotiations and networking· Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers, advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge required· Ability to collect and analyze data for leadership presentations· Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills· Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations as they arise, responding quickly and effectively to changing business needs from both owners and internally at PDRI· Desire to work with people of varying backgrounds, needs, and expectations and be a resource for their success· The Vendor Partnership Manager will be responsible for supporting in the preparation and execution of the Vendor Trade Show at the annual Paul Davis Conference. This includes collecting sponsorship and other contributions by vendor partners, and other tasks as assigned. · Experience in CVENT a plus· A sales mentality and a can-do attitude is critical to this position to ensure encouragement to use vendor partner programs with the Paul Davis network
Preferred Education and Experience · Bachelor’s degree in business management/administration, logistics, supply chain management, or similar field· Similar experience with a record or proven success may be accepted

Most work will be conduct over email, video conferencing, and telephone. The successful person must be productive with minimal supervision Travel This position will require up to 15% travel in both the US and Canada. This position may require travel for company meetings/events, trade shows and trainings.
