Vendor Integration - Analyst I Job at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts

Monitor member accumulation error reports and file feeds, trend and report issues by account and error type for the accounts with the carve-out pharmacy benefits.
Utilize reporting tools and manipulate data in Access, MS Excel, or Word for presentation to support inventory management, performance tracking and trending, etc.
Support the root cause analysis of production and member accumulation issues, identify source of issues, quantify impacts, coordinate remediation efforts between BCBSMA and the PBMs, and develop recommendations to improve or eliminate the issue.
Interact with internal and external partners to facilitate activities designed to mitigate account and member issues related to managing member accumulations.
Track account-level and member-level issues through completion, communicate regular status updates to the leadership and other BCBSMA business areas.
Perform trend analysis and identify opportunities to improve the desk level and system efficiency via workflow changes and/or system modifications.
Assist with building and enhancing tools to facilitate identification, research, and reporting of member accumulation error trends.
Continuously evaluate current business processes with the intent to update them with new job aids, efficiencies, and adhoc reporting tools related to integrated benefit synchronization issues.
Assist with workflow / documentation development in support of departmental production levels and goals.
Assist in the development and documentation of business requirements and testing to implement continuous improvement opportunities, associate process changes, and system enhancements.
Participate in Divisional Workgroups and contribute to process improvements to meet business performance goals.
Coordinate with Operations Leaders to identify opportunities to improve overall performance.
Experience and Requirements
2+ years in working with accounts, internal business areas and outside parties in a corporate setting to reconcile data and resolve discrepancies required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required
Demonstrated the ability to self-learn new tools and processes (required)
Skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook are required
Demonstrated experience in building tools to track and manage open issues to develop corrective action plans required
Obtained relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience strongly desired
Skills in MS Access, AMS, Data Warehouse, or equivalent account management tools strongly desired
Knowledge of vendor integration is strongly desired
Strong understanding of BCBSMA core processing systems (OLB, NASCO and RTMS) and reporting tools strongly desired
Minimum Education Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent required unless otherwise noted above
