Summary: This position is a perfect opportunity for Lead Dental Assistants who are looking to transition from clinical dentistry to the administrative and business development side of dental business! Under the supervision of the Sr. Manager of Market Development the Dental Staff Training and Development Coordinator assists the Launch team in a facets of new market integration as well as updating existing markets with operational modifications.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and monitor new workflow and processes to meet growth needs of the company.
  • Manage flow of equipment and supply requests; prioritizing requests to ensure no downtime occurs. Maintain back up inventory.
  • Assemble dental kits and equipment; ensure all is sterilized. Work with development department to enhance or restructure existing kits to meet client requests.
  • Ensure "back up" kits are created and updated.
  • Train new and existing employees on supply formulary, proper equipment maintenance, compliance tasks, daily workflow process.
  • Order applicable supplies and equipment for new markets. Ensure supplies are delivered timely.
  • Monitor and process equipment and supply orders for existing markets.
  • Build relationships with supply vendors to ensure cost saving measures.
  • Assist with new location property search.
  • Must be able to work independently and meet strict timelines for new market openings.
  • Must be able to travel at least 50% of the time to new and existing locations.
  • Ability to load and unload a van with dental equipment and supplies; ability to life approximately 40 pounds.
  • Must complete frequent compliance tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job-Type and Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM

Qualifications:

  • Computer Skills: An individual should have intermediate knowledge of dental practice management software and Microsoft office and internet software.

Education and or Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two to five years dental assisting experience.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology.
  • Practice Management software experience.
