We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team in Fredericksburg, MD to load trucks and transfer product daily between GlacierPoint facilities.

Duties involve:

Driving a tractor trailer or straight truck in a safe manner to ensure on-time delivery or pick up of product to prescribed locations.

Performing daily pre & post trip inspection of assigned truck, tractor & trailer.

Assisting in loading/unloading of racks/blue bins and pallets or any other containers in truck.

Responsible for assisting in loading and securing the load before leaving the facility.

Responsible to assist off-loading at assigned destination and assisting with loading route trucks at assigned destination.

Responsible for securing return trailer load and returning directly to home facility.

Responsible for off-loading and securing product in appropriate location upon return to home facility.

Completing all required paperwork including daily log book, trip report, and D.V.I.R. Ensure all completed paperwork is turned in daily or as required.

Requirements:

CDL Class A License required

1-2 years Trailer driving experience

Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations

Clean driving record

Must be able to pass Drug Screen and Criminal background Check

Ability to pass a Physical Capacity Test and Background Check

We offer:

Signing-on bonus - $1,500

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
