Salary Range: Based on experience

As a Technical Writer, you will have the opportunity to lead the creation and implementation of internal and user-facing documentation of OxeFit’s advanced strength training system units by developing web-based documentation and print-based documentation, knowledge management solutions, and crafting informative and engaging content for customer and company usage.

Essential Functions:

• Distill complex product information into clear, concise, and easy to understand guides
• Create documentation for procedures by interviewing and collaborating with SMEs, department leads, engineers, and other team members
• Write and publish user-facing content for digital and print materials
• Create content for internal use (e.g. assembly instructions, internal release notes, troubleshooting guides, illustrations)
• Lead documentation strategy of existing and new workflows or products
• Create user interface text such as error messages, field labels, etc
• Review and revise release materials, posts, and notes
• Craft and design email marketing campaigns
• Plan and complete content initiatives

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in technical writing
• Demonstrated ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for different audiences
• Excellent skills in grammar, syntax, and informational architecture
• Able to deliver clean and concise documentation with minimalist design principles
• Able to document hardware and software process methods (maintenance, configuration changes, production, repair activities, etc.)
