About The Position
The Technical Advisor (TA) is an expert in their field who applies their technical knowledge in the development of, and participation in, research protocols. The TA’s main responsibilities are to: (1) create & programmatically support new Geneva programs related to operational and special warfare medicine, (2) support partner and client outreach, and (4) participate in the application development and award management lifecycle as a subject matter expert in military medicine and training matters, operational medicine, and special warfare medical requirements.
This is a hybrid remote position. The employee will be able to work remotely, 2 days a week, and then on-site at the Fort Bragg Research Institute or Fayetteville Corporate location, 3 times a week.
Salary Range

Management Responsibilities
- Supervise study personnel, as delegated
- Study protocol development and management, as delegated
Responsibilities
- Supports the Sr. Technical Advisor and business development team with developing and formulating new research initiatives

Formulates business development plans based on DOD medical research priorities

Identifies and cultivates key strategic partnerships and collaborations with site Principal Investigators (PI), academic research institutions, public & private businesses, industry sponsors (e.g. biopharmaceutical, device, and pharmaceutical companies) and other non- profit organizations

Aids site partners and programmatic teams in identifying new research partnerships and funding opportunities

Represents Geneva at local and National conferences, symposia, site visits and other military and non-military assemblies

Assists researchers with application development in the capacity of a subject matter expert

Serves as a subject matter expert/investigator on funded research programs
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required; Master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years’ experience briefing Command leadership materials required
- 10+ years’ medical research or medical practice in a military environment required
- 5+ years' experience in staff and project lifecycle management required
- 5+ years’ experience developing briefing materials and executive summaries for policy recommendations
- Demonstrated competence in oral and written communication
- Ability to leverage a network of business contacts and provide superior customer service
- Must be flexible with changing priorities and able to communicate in a diplomatic and professional manner
- Ability to exercise independent judgment in fast-paced, high-pressured environment with strict deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Computer skills including at least intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office and Client Relationship Management (CRM) Software
