JOB DESCRIPTION
- We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineering Director/Lead/Architect, who will join our diverse engineering team to develop Client’s wireless Location Service solution.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and architect embedded software under Linux OS, optimized for real-time performance.
- Be a dynamic team leader, encouraging people, and innovative in her ways.
- Act as an agile team player, critical thinker, and problem-solver who engineers solutions across the full signal processing software stack.
MUST HAVE ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS
- Proven competence in C, C++, and Python.
- Experience in building complex wireless systems and simulations.
- Excellent driver-level and embedded software development and debugging skills.
- Understanding of cloud-based DevOps CI/CD build workflow and version control based on Git.
- Expertise in microservices architecture and frameworks.
- Experience in, or interfacing with, modern cloud technologies: REST APIs, WebSockets, AWS Lambda functions, noSQL stores, Elastic Stack, Kafka, ZeroMQ, Kubernetes, etc.
- Excellent technical documentation and presentation skills.
- Strong written and spoken English.
SHOULD HAVE ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS
- BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar major, with at least 10 years of professional experience.
- Experience developing on, and programming for, a Linux system (OpenWRT and PetaLinux target platforms desired).
- Solid understanding of network stack programming.
NICE TO HAVE ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS
- Understanding of wireless comms PHY and MAC protocols.
- Experience with geolocation and geospatial database technologies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $190,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
