Duties/Scope. Serves as Operational Specialists for general officer level organization in the United States Army. Supports executive leadership with operational functions including readiness, operations, and deployment/mobilization of contingency contracting personnel and units in support of U.S. Army Contracting Command. Conducts research, performs mission analysis, develops courses of action, and prepares/presents products for informal information and/or formal decision briefings to the Commanding General, Deputy Commanding General, Deputy Commanding General of Overseas Operations, and Chief of Staff. Receives broad guidance from the G3 Division Chief to manage assigned G3 functions. Guidance received is in the form of general policy and overall program guidance, with broadly defined missions and/or objectives. Coordinates with higher command (AMC) and adjacent commands (ASC, IMCOM) to ensure ACC planning and execution remains nested. Key responsibilities and duties include:

• 
  Prepares and presents briefings on the AMC operational footprint and status with respect to CCO issues both CONUS and OCONUS.
• Information and task management between ACC leadership, staffs, and subordinate units. responsibility to provide day-to-day oversight and staff supervision over actions relating to the operation of the readiness and operations of Contract Support Brigades and their forces supporting aligned and unaligned units worldwide.
• Coordinates operational, planning, and training activities with leaders and staff at ACC HQs, Contracting Support Brigades (CSB), the Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), and Contracting Centers.
• Supports Army and designated Joint forces in the execution operational contract support throughout competition, crisis, and conflict. Supports planning in support of other federal agencies through approved requests for Defense Support for Civil Authorities (DSCA).
• Preparing, coordinating, authenticating Operations Orders (OPORD), Fragmentary Orders (FRAGO), and Warning Orders (WARNO). Work is reviewed for timeliness, overall accuracy/effectiveness, achievement of command objectives, and exercise of sound judgment.

• 
  Independently administers assigned functions within regulatory guidance; develops objectives (short, mid, and long-range), schedules, resource requirements, and procedures necessary to integrate others as required to accomplish the G3's mission.

Clearance Requirement: Top Secret Clearance

Experience/Education: The ideal candidate will have a MA/MS in the related field with fifteen years' experience. MA/MS can be substituted for 25+ related military experience.
