Stationary Engineer (2nd Shift) Job at ABMIndustries.
- Operates or assists with heating and ventilation equipment, water cooled systems, engines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, etc.
- Regularly performs routine maintenance duties such as overhauling or replacing defective valves, gaskets, or bearings
- Responsible for lubricating moving parts, replacing filters, removing suit and corrosion, etc.
- Uses building automation systems and work order systems
- Records data and keep logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activity
- Checks the air quality of ventilation systems and makes adjustments to ensure compliance with mandated safety codes
- Monitor boiler water, chemical, and fuel levels, and make adjustments to maintain required levels
Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
