ASI is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to support Weapons Systems Logistics Maintenance Support IPT, Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JSFPO), in Arlington, VA.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with logistics/engineering for concurrence on all related activities involving Utilities & Subsystems and Flight Technologies
  • Maintain various working documents for the Maintenance (MX) Values Stream Lead involving the Triage - Maintenance Planning Change Board process
  • Monitor progression and status of Maintenance Planning Change (MPC) projects while ensuring logistics elements and supportability considerations are thoroughly scheduled and tracked
  • Perform Configuration Management (CM) reviews to ensure repair operations are optimally maintained
  • Identify Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and maintenance policy options and conduct cost/benefit trade-off analysis of policy options
  • Investigate maintenance concepts, storage and handling requirements and procedures for composite materials
  • Recommend improvements to existing maintenance concepts, procedures, and handling requirements
  • Data modeling reviews and analysis of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Specialized Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs), Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOMs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Field-Level data documents, Weapons System Planning Documents (WSPDs), Aircraft Flight Hour Reports, and documents involving cost and repair data for the Maintenance (MX) Value Stream Team Lead
  • Assist in the development of presentations on program status, accomplishments, progress to all levels of Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Assist in the coordination of information and development of Sustainment Integrated Product Team (IPT) task and duty automation within Microsoft applications
  • Provide weekly and monthly inputs on Team meetings, briefings, teleconferences, and written correspondence within the Maintenance Value Stream Team
  • Create briefing charts used to analyze results, reduce logistics support costs, increase availability of equipment, and minimize the total life cycle cost to identify maintenance repair alternatives
  • Communicate updates on status information, support equipment, and estimated completion dates on each of the various MPCs for the F-35 to achieve field-level repair

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
    • Four years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for degree
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products to include Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Willingness to travel

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance
