Loudoun Medical Group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Virginia, seeks an experienced Healthcare Operations leader to join our growing management services group. Reporting directly to the COO, the Director of Operations directs, supervises and coordinates the overall practice and business operations for the organization.

Job Duties:

• Provide leadership and direction to medical practice groups and corporate administrative support functions.
• In collaboration with the COO and CEO, develop and implement strategic plans and monitor progress toward achieving operational goals and objectives.
• Establish and oversee controls to monitor and enhance operational efficiencies.
• Identify gaps in functional operations and cross-functional interactions and identify corrective actions.
• Identify risks, threats, and opportunities for the business and identify strategies to address them.
• Drive measurement and accountability to ensure achievement of plans, goals, and objectives.
• Drive future growth through site selection, organizational development, and new practice acquisition.
• Provide support with recruitment of all staff levels within the practice to ensure efficiency of operations.
• Participate in negotiations with payers and vendors to achieve maximum financial returns.
• Complete annual budgets and assist with other financial planning efforts.
• Work with CEO, COO and shareholder physicians in the development of strategic plans for growth.
• Serve as company representative to media and industry as required.

Education and Experience

Master’s degree in business, health care management, or closely related field and experience in managing physician practices or large physician groups. Broad operational and administrative leadership experience preferred.

Bachelors degree in healthcare

Pay: $80,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
