Nekter Juice Bar is looking for a Graphic Designer who has a start up mentality and who thrives in a fast-paced constantly changing environment. The ideal candidate has a passion for juice and wants to learn how to concept and contribute to amazing creative work. The Graphic Designer will support our creative team and help shape our brand. Were looking for a talented team player with a positive and fun attitude towards work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategize concepts for seasonal promotional campaigns
Develop in-store collateral and signage, corporate identity materials, sales sheets and other creative materials
Create package designs for new products and line extensions
Art direct photo shoots
Help review and approve photos and production proofs
Understand and develop original creative content for websites, email and social media campaigns
Create and uphold brand design style guides
Help ensure consistent brand identity and design continuity across all materials
Archive completed projects
Strong concept and design skills
Experience with POS/signage, collateral, brand identity, packaging, web, email and social media

• Designing and creating art for retail/In-store, advertising, and promotional tools.
• Must be able to consistently produce concepts and artwork to satisfy design objectives.
• Effectively manage multiple projects with other members of the team.
• Provides leadership by generating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and commitment to company objectives
• Someone with a go-getter attitude who is looking for an opportunity to take ownership of design for an exciting and inspiring brand
• Communicate daily with the team to make sure our imagery remains consistent both on our website and in marketing materials
• Takes a collaborative team approach towards aiding each department in Nékter initiatives
• Must be resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while staying consistent with company standards, franchise standards, and regional and/or company level goals
• Must be able to stay positive and upbeat in a fluid, ever changing environment.

Strong knowledge of typography and illustration
Photo shoot experience a plus, preferably with food and beverage
Knowledge of print production
Knowledge of current trends in design and popular culture
An understanding of brand design within a retail environment preferred
Organized, with high attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with others and present creative work
Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and under deadlines

• Bachelors degree in Graphic Arts or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign in a Macintosh and PC environment.
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Needs to work well with a team and display excellent follow through and self-initiative
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be ready and willing to take on any number of projects as need arises
• Excellent time management & organizational skills with the ability to work independently & as part of a team
• Ability to interact with internal departments using professional interpersonal skills, solutions oriented approach
