Fuse is actively seeking a Senior Designer with 5+ years of design experience who has a passion for strategic design and can back it up with a strong portfolio. The right person will have the ability to lead a wide range of design projects, and stay engaged with their own hands-on design tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must along with a positive attitude focused on providing the best work possible for our clients. This role reports directly to the Executive Creative Director.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with project teams and clients
• Generate clear ideas and concepts
• Understand platforms, positioning and target audiences
• Develop design solutions that meet client marketing objectives
• Take work from concept to final execution across print, digital and content projects
• Create and present presentation decks internally and externally
• 5 to 7 years of relevant design experience in a fast-paced agency setting
• Ability to render event presence layouts
• Expert level skills with Adobe Creative Suite programs
• Understanding of the production mechanical process
• Comfortable with presentation layout and design
• Ability to create print-ready production files
• Strong communicator and influencer
• Collaborative approach to design and able to give and receive constructive feedback

Working at Fuse

• Teamwork: You will collaborate with team members across the agencies five groups including brand strategy, digital communications, experiential, production and creative.
• Rhythm: You will work autonomously or collaboratively on several concurrent projects, all the while self-starting, actively solving problems, and delivering beyond what is expected.
• Communication: You will articulate your ideas and concepts both internally and externally. Your ability to communicate, listen, and synthesize information are critical parts of your role.
• Responsibility: You will make judgement calls as necessary, knowing when to consult colleagues and management. You will also seek and value feedback, knowing it will make your work that much stronger.
• Tools: You will use Adobe and Microsoft products daily. You may also have the ability to write some code, create motion graphics and use tools like SketchUp or Figma.
• Ideation: You will participate in internal and external conversations, brainstorms and critiques, as well as present your work to colleagues and clients.
