Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania has immediate openings for qualified CDL drivers with S & P endorsements for vacancies in our Transportation department in Philadelphia. We have a fulltime and part-time School Bus Driver positions available to transport preschool children with special needs to our Early Intervention Center and Approved Private School in the Wynnefield Heights area of Philadelphia located close to City Avenue and Monument Road. This position involves both the September to June school year and a six week summer schedule. Morning, mid-day and/or afternoon runs are available.

Responsibilities are to transport preschool-aged students with disabilities effectively and safely to and from school on a daily basis. Bus Attendants are on each bus to address the children's needs. Our School Bus Drivers play a key role in the daily lives of children we serve with special needs and are in a unique position to make a difference for our children.

Qualifications:

High school/GED required.

Current CDL with S & P endorsements are required.

Ability to satisfactorily complete pre-employment clearances and drug screen. Applicants are required to pass Easterseals and Philadelphia School District required clearances, pre-employment drug testing and alcohol screening.

Experience working with pre-school age population preferred but not required.
