Lakewood Dermatology, part of Lakewood Health System, provides comprehensive medical and surgical dermatology care to patients in our Sartell, Staples, and Pillager clinics. The Position:

This is a full-time position, working between 64-80 hours per two week pay period. Candidates should be available between the hours of 6:30AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday. (Actual start times may vary). Must be flexible with scheduling and be willing to travel to our satellite clinics located in Staples, Pillager, and Sartell as needed. We encourage candidates to still apply if interested in part-time, or if only able to support Staples or Pillager locations, as that may be considered

Responsibilites:

• Patient intake and scribing in EMR

• Interview patients to obtain medical histories and explain treatment procedures

• Assist provider during procedures (biopsies, excisions, Mohs surgery)

• Provide discharge instructions

• Perform wound dressings, suture removal and wound check

• Call patients with test and biopsy results, return patient phone messages and refill requests

• Prior authorizations for medications and pharmacy calls

• Management of iPledge Accutane registry

• Order and manage inventory of medical supplies

• Prepare and stock exam rooms

• Specimen handling for send-out tests

• Surgical instrument cleaning, sterilizing

• 
  Current MN LPN Licensure or CMA Certification

• Current BLS Certification

• Excellent Customer Service Skills

• Excellent Team Skills

• Great Attention to Detail

• Flexibility

• Clinical experience preferred but not required

• Dermatology experience ideal but not required

• Scribing experience is a plus but will train the right person!
