Part-Time:

• Approximately 20-25 hours/week

Title: Bakery Sales Associate

Reports to: Front of House Manager

Position Summary:
Sales associates are the first impression customers will get of CocoLuxe whether it is on the phone or when they visit the bakery. Sales associates work primarily in the front of the house and are required to tend to the many needs of the counter, during and after service. A sales associate’s speed and efficiency help to keep customer traffic moving swiftly and efficiently, contributing to increased sales volume while providing a pleasant customer experience. As sales associates have direct contact with customers, it is important that they speak clearly and make eye contact with colleagues and customers alike. Sales associates also play a role in helping keep a clean and properly maintained shop by maintaining and upholding sanitation and cleanliness standards. Sales associates must be well groomed, even tempered, agreeable, well-spoken, and fast witted. In conjunction with the kitchen, sales associates keep the pace of the bakery even and efficient.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Answering phones
• Greeting customers with a smile as they enter the shop
• Guiding/assisting customers with purchases
• Learning and using our Point of Sale system
• Providing accurate product information to customers
• Keeping bakery and beverage cases stocked, neat, and clean
• Communicating effectively with both front of house and kitchen staff
• Making espresso drinks
• Keeping indoor and outdoor dining areas clean and sanitized

Required:
Flexible schedule and weekend availability
