Floor Coverings International in Parker is seeking a Sales and Design Associate. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, service-minded individual who loves to have fun and has the drive and ability to build a six-figure income.

We are looking for an individual who is not afraid to work hard, including some evenings and weekends. The right individual will be key to the expansion of our company and will have the opportunity to grow as the company grows.

Duties Include:

To provide sales and business development activities to generate clients, revenue for the business, and additional income and bonuses for yourself.

• Turn appointments into sales through client engagement and finding optimal solutions for the end user
• Provide 5-star customer service and follow through with all potential clients
• Deliver the recommended sales process to all potential clients
• Participation in training activities
• Participation in activities such as home shows and events, company meetings, coaching sessions, etc.
• Accurately scope and price projects, and effectively hand off sold projects to the production team
• Develop B2B relationships that ultimately provide opportunities for yourself and the company’s sales team
• Office and administrative assistance relating to customer service and customer relations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the flooring industry and related product offerings
• Accurately utilize company-provided technology and scheduling tools
• Take proper care of company-owned technology, vehicle, samples, etc.
• Always follow required safety practices
• Flexible in scheduling and willing to do what is needed to get the job done
• Strong communicator with an ability to build relationships with customers and other flooring professionals, sales reps, etc.
• Must understand the big picture and be willing to do what is ultimately best for the business
• A keen eye for detail and quality

Requirements:

• Must be dependable and have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service to clients
• Ability to communicate professionally to clientele, both verbally and in writing
• Must have the ability to move clients to a purchase
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must have a clean criminal background/ Background check will be performed
• Appreciate being compensated based on success through a base salary plus a commission/bonus plan

Pay and Benefits:

This is a full-time in-office position with an annual base salary of $50,000 with a generous commission structure. Sales commissions are based on net sales volume for leads provided by the company and/or self-generated opportunities. In this position, the Sales and Design Associate will spend 80% of their time serving ready-to-purchase clients and the remaining 20% developing new business.
