To make St. Mary’s Hospital For Children the post-acute skilled nursing facility of choice with physicians, hospitals, other skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and other referral sources/payers, and to serve as a resource both internally and externally by supporting the mission and vision of the organization. This position provides leadership and coordination in the development of St. Mary’s community relations, and where appropriate, marketing; develops relations with health care personnel (with an emphasis on physician offices and hospitals); meets regularly with hospital case managers and discharge planners; meets with physicians, physician groups, hospital staff and community to educate and promote St. Mary’s services; participates in promotional activities.Formal education required:

• Licensed and currently registered to practice professional nursing in the State of New York.
• BSN preferred

Previous experience required:

• Minimum two years proven experience in business development in healthcare or related field
• Experienced in diverse business development settings, and proven ability to handle changing situations
• Experience at targeting business development sources with business plans with proven success
• Proven experience establishing relationships with and servicing of healthcare clients
• Experience producing and presenting multimedia presentations helpful

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
