Revenue Cycle Manager Job at Landmark Recovery
The Revenue Cycle Manager is the on-site representative for Landmark’s corporate Revenue Cycle Management Department. The position exists primarily to coordinate and submit all billing for the facility and to manage the insurance and patient receivables.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for coordinating with Utilization Review Manager to optimize revenue collection and resolve any immediate revenue related concerns.
· Interface with the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management to surface major concerns that need to be resolved across the entire Revenue Cycle Management/Utilization Review/Contracting department.
· Create and monitor all billing procedures for the facility.
· Ensure Facility and all Physicians or Non-Physician Providers employed by facility are credentialed with all commercial insurance carriers with whom facility participates.
· Use expertise and knowledge to participate in contracting process to obtain commercial insurance contracts with major carriers.
· Familiarize self and staff with all billing requirements of each insurance provider and adapt procedures to ensure compliance with those requirements.
· Gather all pre-authorization forms and clinical data necessary to submit billing.
· Submit billing weekly to insure providers for all patients.
· Create and submit statement to patients who are paying using private funds or who have copayment or deductible requirements with their insurance.
· Call weekly on outstanding receivables from both patients and insurance providers; work aggressively to collect all past due amounts owed.
· Any task assigned by supervisor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Oversees all Insurance Claims Coordinators and Billers/Cash Posters.
· Manages and motivates staff (including hiring, firing, performance management, and recognition duties).
· Train, direct and appraise staff.
· Make daily schedules for proper manpower utilization.
· Plans and organizes workload and staff assignments.
· Issues written and oral instructions; assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

This role is fully Onsite at our HQ located in Franklin, TN.
