Foot and Ankle Associates of North Texas (FAANT) is looking for a Retail Associate to join our team in Grapevine, TX. As retail associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our patients in our Healthy Steps Shoe Store.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to patients while assessing their footwear needs, as directed by their physician.
- Balance financial reports daily & manage petty cash.
- Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments for clinic, laser treatments, and diabetic shoe fittings.
- Modify custom and over-the-counter shoe inserts, as directed by the physician.
- Fit patients for custom diabetic shoes, per Medicare/insurance guidelines.
- Document patient interactions and sales information.
- Organization and inventory management of shoes, over-the-counter items, and custom items.
- Other administrative or clinical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication with patients, physicians, and team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team when needed in a medical/retail environment.
- Ability to engage with multiple patients/customers at a time.
- High school diploma/GED
- Familiarity with medical insurance (Medicare and Commercial) and electronic medical records is preferred.
- Retail experience is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
