Access Ohio’s Star Center, a 7-bed mental health residential treatment facility is hiring 2nd shift Residential Specialists, in Delaware, Ohio. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, mental health and/or alcohol and drug treatment preferred, but not required. Applicants who can work flexible hours will be given preference.

Job Duties:
- Follows the established program calendar and assists with maintaining the therapeutic milieu.
- Provide support to residents, and help to maintain a safe and clean living/working environment.
- Support residents to complete their activities of daily living such as health care, meal preparations and shopping, household tasks such as cleaning and laundry, recreation, social and leisure time skills.
- Complete all assigned shift tasks for the working day.
- Ensures documentation is completed on time and meets Access Ohio standards and policies.
- Follow established policies and procedures set by the agency.
Requirements and Competencies:
- High School diploma or Equivalent
- Reliable and professional
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people and client populations.
- Maintain client confidentiality and privacy
- Attend in-service training, seminars, and participates in other educational activities, as required.
- Willing to support clients in a wide range of tasks and activities.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Job Type: Full-time

- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
