This position is a pre-requirement for anyone that is interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant or a Licensed Nursing Assistant. Success in this role guarantees placement into the LNA class that is held 4x a year. The class is at no cost to current RCA's or Care Assistants that are employed by Southwestern Vermont Health Care and it's subsidiaries.
The Resident Care Assistant provides supportive services other than direct nursing care.
High School graduate or GED required.
