Extra Extra $ 500 Sign on Bonus. The Registered Pharmacy Technician will assist in completing the authorization process for pending prescription orders from veterinarians via fax, mailed-in prescriptions, or phone calls to vet offices or clinics. You will be mainly handling the large volume of mail order prescriptions. The Registered Pharmacy Technician will work directly with the team of licensed Pharmacists to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescription orders shipped.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in completing the authorization process for pending prescription orders
• We have a multi layered process to authorize a prescription
• Ensure the accuracy of all prescription orders
• Work with a high volume of incoming faxes, mailed-in prescriptions and phone calls
• Calm and courteous with customers and employees alike
• Respond to all customers and veterinarians in a timely manner
• Treat pet parents with the utmost respect at all times
• $500 Sign on bonus paid out $250 after 30 days and $250 after 90 days

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED

• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience with prior authorization
• Genuinely friendly, courteous and helpful
• Superior communication skills both written and verbal
• Superior voice and diction skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents properly
• Patient and respectful team player who is willing to do what it takes to support the group
• Must have a love for pets and a desire to learn everything about them
• Vet office, Vet Tech, Pet Adoption, dog training or grooming a huge plus!
• Retail experience a plus.
• WORK ONSITE IN DELRAY FLORIDA
• Must be able to pass typing test

The shift is the following :

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - 11:30 - 8PM ; Friday - 10:30 - 7PM ; Saturday - 9 - 5PM Thursday , and Sunday - OFF on call if business needs it

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

• Targeted to process 200 to 250 scripts per day
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree a plus
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the state of Florida
• A minimum of 6 months of working experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Call center experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Great interpersonal communication
• Proficient in the use of PC’s
• Good keyboarding skills – must be able to type at least 50 words per minute
• Basic math skills and ability to calculate figures and percentages
• Ability to work in an office environment, sitting for long periods of time
• Ability to work rotating holidays as needed
• Ability to commit to a full-time schedule throughout the year (optional overtime available)
• MUST BE A REGISTERED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA
• Hourly rate plus PRODUCTION BONUS AFTER 2 WEEKS TRAINING
