Position Summary: Registered Nurse - RN - Employee Health Nurse - Full-Time

  • Assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis.
  • Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care. May administer medication. Documents patient care given.
  • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of team members.
  • Administers drug test and immunizations for new hire processing.
  • Monitors and implements the Workers Compensation program in coordination with Occupational Health Manager.
  • Manages the facilities Wellness Program for the employees.
  • Employee Health Nurse may also interact with regulatory agencies.


Minimum Qualifications
:

  • Associate’s degree is required. Graduate of a School of Nursing program. Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Current license as an RN in New Mexico or compact license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • New Hires/Transfers: Requires that certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. If currently certified, must maintain current certification. Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
  • Experience in Acute Care is preferred.
