What we're looking for

We're looking for motivated Registered Dietitians (RD, RDN) to join our provider network (this is an independent contractor position).

With our tech-forward approach and streamlined operations, our goal is to help you unlock insurance and spend your time directly helping clients while we handle the administrative work for you — from insurance credentialing, to new client onboarding and benefits verification, to insurance operations.

What your responsibilities will be when working with Wellory clients

• Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) via telehealth sessions to clients with a variety of health and lifestyle needs.
• Build strong, effective 1-1 relationships with your clients to deliver meaningful health outcomes.
• Arrive at scheduled telehealth visits on time, with a stable internet connection, and in a quiet and private location.
• Complete high-quality charting notes upon the conclusion of each client visit, including both initial and follow-up consultations.
• Track applicable progress indicators within the EHR system in order to best support clients and measure health outcomes.
• Schedule follow-up visits with clients using our EHR’s calendar.

• Share feedback with the Wellory team to continuously improve both the client and provider experience and operations.
• Share ideas for continued training and education opportunities — we will be providing these exclusively to the RD team!
• Share feedback and insights regarding tools, systems and processes.

Who we're looking for

• Active Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• 1+ years experience delivering MNT
• Comfortable working with patients remotely via telehealth platforms (think Zoom, Healthie, Simple Practice or Practice Better)
• Passionate about 1-1 nutrition counseling (there’s nothing you love more than helping your clients achieve real health outcomes!)
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships with your clients

Minimum Requirements

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
• Pass a background check (a one-time $100 fee will apply)
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

How you’ll be compensated

• You will be a 1099 contractor, paid at an hourly rate ($52/hr)
• You will be paid for hours worked — and hours worked is entirely up to you! You will have the chance to opt in to work opportunities. You’ll set and maintain your own schedule, syncing your calendar with our EHR.
• You will be paid according to a monthly invoicing cadence. Even if insurance hasn’t yet reimbursed us for your services rendered that month, we’ll pay you on time, every time.

The hiring process We'll do our best to respond to all applications as quickly as possible. We are accepting applications and will be credentialing RDs on a rolling basis throughout the year.

• Submit your application via our website - Head to our website and click on "Join Our Network" to submit your network application.
• We'll reach out directly within 1 week - After completing your application, you’ll hear from us within 5 business days if you qualify!
• Meet the team - On a video call, we'll tell you all about Wellory and share more about our vision for the role, business and community, leaving time for Q&A at the end. (15-20 min)
• Begin credentialing - Once you’ve signed your agreement and completed the background check, we’ll kick off credentialing so that you can go in-network with all of Wellory’s insurance contracts (think Cigna, Aetna, Medicare and more).
• Opt in to work opportunities - Credentialing can take 90 days, depending on the insurer. Once you’ve been credentialed with your first insurance company, we’ll launch your provider profile so that you can begin matching to opportunities and supporting new clients!
