Job Description:

The Regional Manager oversees a geographic territory and is responsible for the business development and operational performance of the branch. The Regional Manager ensures (s)he has the right team members in place to achieve annual, quarterly and monthly sales growth and budgetary targets while maintaining Ready Temporary Services standards for compliance and quality service. A Regional Manager leads the branch in daily meetings and provides employees with the required coaching, resources and professional support needed to efficiently and effectively operate at a high-performance level.

Essential Selling Functions:

  • Be the Sales Leader for the branch
  • Work with the sales team to:
  • Understand the burden and pricing philosophy of Ready Services
  • Identify potential clients and develop effective and custom sales methods to secure client business
  • Identify the needs of businesses and sell various HR services Ready provides
  • Develop strong relationships and trust with client companies with a goal to become a legitimate extension of the company’s HR department
  • Obtain desired margins by quoting profitable rates that meet both the client and Ready’s needs
  • Prepare service agreements or quotes in a timely manner for clients using automated quoting software.
  • Execute consistent and results-oriented client contacts (meetings, drop-ins, emails, etc.)
  • Perform detailed documentation in company CRM regarding potential and current clients
  • Provide insight and consulting regarding common HR functions including trending HR best practices, employment law compliance, employee relations management, etc.
  • Work closely with branch team to communicate the needs, goals, interests and expectations of the client
  • Provide dynamic leadership while working with other team members to ensure successful entry and sales growth
  • Ensure that the client’s needs and expectations are met, and they are satisfied

Essential Recruitment & Operations Functions:

  • Be the Recruitment & Operations Leader for the branch
  • Develop and oversee strategic, operational, and administrative programs/plans including an annual Branch Development Plan
  • Oversee all recruiting efforts of branch with the ability to increase productivity, ensure quality and provide consistent delivery of Ready Temporary Services services to clients
  • Support branch revenue growth by driving additional order fulfillment, recruiter referrals, and resume leads
  • Manage branch payroll processing with efficiency while meeting Ready Temporary Services standards of quality
  • Fulfill needed HR functions including oversight of workers’ compensation claims and branch return to work programs, completion of WOTC forms for branch, and minimizing branch unemployment claims
  • Utilize software within branch; ability to produce and analyze necessary reports
  • Assist in coordinating walk-ins & check delivery with sales and account management team
  • Participate in account reviews as needed
  • Train employees on standard operating procedures and policies of the branch
  • Create and communicate weekly/daily reports of key performance indicators and document all notable branch activities
  • Communicate closely with various Ready Temporary Services departments and branches to ensure compliance with OSHA, Workers’ Compensation, Federal and State laws, and internal policies/procedures
  • Perform other duties as required

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university
  • 3+ years of experience in staffing industry or related environment
  • 2+ years training, coaching and leading a high-performing team
  • Experience opening new staffing markets a strong plus
  • Proven record of 10% consistent organic annual sales growth by self and teams under his/her management
  • Successfully managed a formal budget, including P&L
  • Extensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations with a proven record of compliance
  • Extensive knowledge of effecting recruiting tactics
  • Used CRM software to facilitate management of sales activities and pipeline for self and team members (i.e. Salesforce, etc.)
  • Used ATS software to facilitate management of recruiting activities and order fulfillment for self and team members

  • Strong commercial presence and professionalism in all interactions
  • Strong verbal and written communication with deep experience in developing and delivering formal sales presentations
  • Effective at motivating team members to achieve performance targets
  • Effective at developing relationships with new and existing customers in order to close, retain, and expand profitable sales
  • Effective at executing implementations, training, and operational initiatives
  • Ability to provide results-oriented solutions for branch needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office—Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams

Work Expectations and Environment

  • Minimum work schedule: 8am – 5:00pm, able to work additional hours to support 24/7 operations

Compensation (Varies based off branch)

  • Annual Base Salary
  • Quarterly and annual performance bonus based on year-over-year sales and EBITDA growth
