The role
Superior Environmental Solutions (SES), an industry leader in Industrial Services, has an immediate need for a Regional Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager in the Dayton, OH area. This individual will be responsible for supporting the company’s Safety Program and creating a continuous safety improvement safety culture. They will lead a team of safety personnel in managing safety progress.

What you will be doing
Key responsibilities and functions may include, but are not limited to:
Key responsibilities and functions may include, but are not limited to:
- Plans, implements, and monitors safety policies, and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations
- Develops, and implements programs for monitoring, and preventing chemical, physical, and biological hazards as well as company safety improvement programs
- Develops safe work practices and facilitates training to employees to perform their job
- Manages and Mentors Site Safety Managers at Job Sites and Branch Locations
- Coordinates and Monitors daily on-site safety visits performed by Site Safety Managers in North Region
- Travels to various job sites at least 50% of each work week
- Is the lead investigator for each and every accident/incident that occurs with focus on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Manages on-site non-regulated waste mix pit for compliance and adherence to company requirements
What we are looking for
Essential Skills/Qualifications
Essential Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Health and Safety or related science degree
- 10-15 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety
- Hands on skills with conducting Health and Safety training
- Working knowledge of regulatory standards for environmental and occupational health and safety
- Strong working knowledge and experience in on-site auditing and inspections
- Experienced in mentoring Site Supervisors to improve safety practices
- OHST or ASP required, CSP preferred
- CHMM a plus

- Leadership, Communication, Understand behavior of Client/Employee relationships, Understand Risk Management, Administer Workers Comp Program, Program System Safety
