Overview:
This position is an important element of Admiral's Quality Management Program and serves within the Support Services Department. This position is designated as essential personnel. The position is a member of the divisional management team and has appropriate authority to direct, discipline and supervise employees in the performance of their duties. The Quality Assurance Manager is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Quality Assurance Manager reports to the Division Manager, Support Services. This position is salaried exempt.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with Admiral and client policies, procedures, and standards. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and laws. Inspections are primarily conducted after normal business hours (i.e., nights and weekends) at the discretion of the Division Manager, Support Services and the Vice President of Support Services. These inspections must be properly documented, and summary reports should be prepared weekly.
- Conduct full scale site audits for accounts or portfolios as deemed necessary by the Division Manager, Support Services and/or the Vice President of Support Services. Audits include a thorough review of training requirements, post orders, employee morale, licensing requirements, time and attendance records, contractual compliance, contractual deliverables, and other items as directed.
- The Quality Assurance Manager may also be required to participate in penetration testing and assist with job startups.
- The Quality Assurance Manager may be required to relieve Admiral employees whose conduct and/or, performance necessitate that he/she immediately remove them from the job site.
- Should the Quality Assurance Manager discover any situation where an open post exists, he or she will need to stand post until relief arrives.
- In the event of any site emergency, the Quality Assurance Manager must be prepared to supervise and provide management support to the site with or in lieu of Operations Management.
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate must:
- Be able to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Have working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
- Be able to work varying hours to include frequent nights and weekends.
- Be able to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, with security officers, managers and senior leaders to convey findings of audits and inspections.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the company.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.Be able to meet all background requirements.
- Must be able to become a CPR/AED certified instructor.Position requires knowledge of technology (Tablets, cell phones).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Security licenses for DMV area.
- Position requires work inside and outside in varying temperatures. This position requires standing for prolonged periods of time (90%), walking, bending and some lifting. A portion of this position may require sitting in front of a computer for prolonged periods of time. Position will require driving.
