Production Team lead Job at US Farathane
JOB DUTIES:
Serve as leader for associates in assigned area in group problem solving and employee involvement activity.
Cooperate with support personnel (Engineering, Tooling, Quality, Maintenance, etc.) on their specific agendas and assignments as they relate to area of responsibility.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e., quality policy manual, associate handbook, Level II procedures, etc.)
Comply with of all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas.
Assists in changeovers.
Responsible for filling in for production supervisor for vacations and absences.
Check all cycle times to ensure all ovens and jobs are running to rate.
Support utilities in there assign Zones.
Maintain a high level of 5s throughout the production floor.
Check and ensure all operators are wearing PPE in job book
Monitor all lines each hour for high defects and operators are following their work instruction.
EXPERIENCE: Candidates should have proven track record of leadership qualities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Standing/Walking minimum (7) hours a day
- Bending
- Twisting
- Repetitive gripping
- Lifting (approx. 45 pounds)
- Walking (2 hours)
- Ability to read, speak & understand English language
