Full Spectrum is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer (Mentor Graphics Leonardo Spectrum). The ideal candidate will have a commitment to high-quality design, be a self-starter, have good attention to detail, have past experience with developing test plans/procedures and executing tests, creating test reports, experience writing Python scripts and post-processing data, as well as setting up and maintaining Hardware Test Fixtures. This candidate must have the ability to work well both independently and in team settings.
Required Qualifications:
- BS Electrical Engineering (or similar field)
- Mentor Graphics Leonardo Spectrum
- Spartan3 Xilinx Chip
- VHDL
- 12-15+ years of hardware design experience, schematic capture and PCB layout
- Able use various industry standards as design input criteria
- Experience with Schematic Capture and PCB Layout tools
- Experience with Microprocessor/Microcontroller/FPGA implementation
- Good knowledge of Analog/Digital circuit design
- Background in SOM (System on Module) development and implementation
- Good knowledge of electronic circuit simulation tools
- Ability to write electrical specification documents
- Able to take ideas from concept to final execution
- Able to execute tasks to a project schedule
- Experience in executing designs to fabrication
- Experience collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines
- Experience with evaluating designs for compliance with industry standards
Desirable Qualifications:

- Altium Designer
- NPI experience to volume production
- Experience in power supply design
- Medical product development experience
- Programming experience (C/C++, Python, Verilog, VHDL)
- Good knowledge of regulatory standards (UL, IEC etc.)
