Pricing Analyst Job at Fifth Wheel Freight
FWF is a third-party logistics and transportation provider (3PL) headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI. We are focused on providing full-service logistics solutions to our clients through industry-leading service and reliability. As a 3PL, FWF has the unique ability to offer less than truckload (LTL) and full truckload (TL) shipping, intermodal, drayage, domestic and international ground/air freight services to our clients. Dedicated representatives- Automated TMS implementation
- Managed freight teams
The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for establishing appropriate pricing and contracting habits for FWF. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales Development and will assist in a variety of tasks relating to pricing strategies, industry trends and data findings.
Responsibilities
- Carry out company RFP/RFQ process
- Articulate pricing and contracting habits
- Review findings to curate accurate data entry
- Produce insightful statistics on carrier/customer contracts and performance
- Responsible for establishing SOP policies to ensure company improvements are being made
- Keep pace with industry standards and trends in an ever-changing market
- Uncover findings that ultimately assist the Sales Department with their quoting needs
- Communicate all needs and concerns as necessary with the Lead Data Analyst
