VitalCheck Wellness is a US-based company which works with employers and local hospital systems to bring doctors to the workplace to offer higher-quality preventive care wellness checks. By providing primary care in the workplace, we are able to make preventive care more convenient for the employee.

We're looking for a Patient Education Content Creator who can partner with us to create compelling and educational material.

Pay will be based on experience and portfolio. Per project payment may be considered, if preferred.

Must reside in NYC, Atlanta, or Jersey City.

Job Description-

• Manage content collection efforts and processes ensuring fresh, compelling, and brand-relevant medical content
• Effectively partner with multiple stakeholders to write, edit, and proofread clear and concise written materials
• Brainstorm new ideas and content strategies
• Research engagement strategies and provide processes to implement strategies
• Comprehend and utilize evidenced-based medical literature in a logical fashion, including the levels of evidence and essential components of performance measures, clinical practice guidelines, disease information, or other information needed
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of written material
• Conceptualize/brainstorm topics and develop engaging material
• Research industry-related topics and identify gaps in our content

Qualifications-

• Have exceptional attention to detail, organization skills, and time management skills
• Be highly motivated and take initiative proactively
• Be receptive to feedback, meet deadlines, and take accountability for deliverables
• Working knowledge of healthcare, diseases processes, and preventive care with prior experience as a healthcare worker in a patient education setting
• A PASSION for patient education and content creation
• Ability to create patient education material including content and design
• Ability to work independently with minimal support
• Have excellent command of the English language - both verbal and written
• Experience with graphic design
• Experience with developing/curating educational content
• Has a portfolio of writing ranging from internal and external outlets, audiences, platforms, and topics
• Ability to create powerpoints and content for webinars and education events
• Highly Proficient with Google and MS suite products
• Must have license/degree as one or more of the following to be considered: LPN, RN, PA, NP, MD, DO or a bachelor in health services

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
