Responsibilities
- Check with Parts Dispatcher to see what deliveries are needed and what pickups are needed for the day.
- Secure invoices for parts needing delivered. Start pulling parts that need to be delivered and arrange in delivery order.
- Load vehicle according to delivery order.
- Secure list of parts pickup that is needed and arrange the route.
- Check condition of the vehicle. Wash if necessary or go for fuel if necessary. Watch log book for mileage intervals.
- Start out on route, delivering to customers and obtaining necessary signatures, payments or purchase orders while providing good customer service.
- Pick up parts needed for internal repairs in the shop making sure invoices are included.
- Return to the dealership with parts that were picked up for internal repairs and deliver to appropriate area.
- Bring signed invoices to accounting with any questions/concerns from customers.
- Check condition of the parts vehicle before securing for the evening.
