Part-time Matchday Ambassador (Club Operations) Job at Chicago Fire FC

Chicago Fire Football Club is a Major League Soccer team that was founded in 1997 and is Chicago’s ambassador to the global sport of soccer. The Club recently returned to Soldier Field as well as opened a new 50,000 square foot office in the heart of the city. With tremendous growth and expansion, the Club is laying the foundation for an audacious and ambitious vision that will transform the brand and the success of the Club in the coming years.
Position Overview:
Chicago Fire Football Club is seeking passionate individuals who enjoy providing a SPARK to join our
team! Matchday Ambassadors will be offered competitive pay, offered a complimentary meal during
working hours, and will be presented with official Chicago Fire FC branded staff gear! Shift times will be subject to the CFFC home match schedule and opportunities to work exciting events will also be
available.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Work a minimum of 14 matches
  • Prior experience in a customer service role preferred
  • Ability to attend organized training highlighting Chicago Fire service standards (SPARK: Safety,
  • Presentation, Assistance, Respect, & Knowledge)
  • Comfortable working with and responding to questions and complaints for a diverse and
  • passionate fanbase
  • Comfortable working with fans of all ages
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks and adapt to change
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, performance-driven work environment
  • Must be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the crowd and create a home-field advantage by waving on-field flags during procession
  • and in-match
  • Execute match presentation elements, such as on-field pyro movement, field arches, and ball
  • placement
  • Prepare and set stadium and game operations equipment for matchdays, including giveaways
  • Be task oriented by performing game operations assignments as requested/needed
  • Provide excellent service standards to match presentation personnel
  • Demonstrate flexibility and creative problem-solving skills
  • Punctuality and professionalism are a must as related to attendance and work schedule
  • The ideal candidate will have high energy, an infectious attitude, and sound flag-waving skills
  • Uphold the Fan Experience standards set by Chicago Fire FC
  • Must be active on your feet, engaged, and comfortable interacting with fans
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Other duties as assigned including fan engagement elements
