About the Role:
The Outreach Specialist position supports the delivery of outreach programs to business and community leaders from across the Dallas Fed region. It supports programming to make the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas’ thought leadership accessible throughout the community. In this role, the Outreach Specialist will identify, monitor, and engage key stakeholder groups while working as part of a collaborative team to execute programming, events, and meetings intended to effectively engage those stakeholders. This position collaborates closely with a dispersed peer team and works under general direction.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communications, project management, time management and productivity skills.
You Will:
  • Support the organization and execution of innovative engagements to connect the Bank’s leadership to key audiences, including industry, community, and political leaders.
  • Manage communications with business leaders, nonprofit organizations, educators, bankers and others from across the region.
  • Execute email marketing (schedule, send and measure) and optimize promotion through recommendations on opportunities to improve and optimize email effectiveness (copy, subject lines, format).
  • Track stakeholder feedback through various feedback tools and offer recommendations based on data and findings.
  • Utilize the Bank’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track and analyze outreach engagement and effectiveness outcomes.
  • Evaluate the impact of meetings, assess event success, and prepare post-event reports.
  • Serve as the liaison with internal partners such as Communications, Audio Visual, Real Estate Services, Financial Management and Law Enforcement.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures, as needed.
  • Collaborate with teammates throughout the 11th Federal Reserve District to coordinate logistics and communications for conferences, workshops, roundtables, speakers bureau engagements, and other large meetings, including virtual engagements.
  • Extends the work of the outreach team by supporting and contributing to its strategic plan and supporting business needs, as necessary.
You Have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Public Relations, Project Management or related fields
  • 3-5 years of experience of related work experience
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in the education, banking/finance, community development, or other related sector.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with diverse audiences including students, educators and the public.
  • Proven experience in program and project management with the ability to manage a large volume of work while maintaining a high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates an ability to prioritize work. Understands the difference between value-added and non-value-added work and responds accordingly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for all levels of the organization.
  • Exhibits strong, high-touch customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiating skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team setting. Able to collaborate with a variety of people and organizations.
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements.

Notes:
This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.
This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. For this specific role, 4 days per week of work can be conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
