GENERAL SUMMARY OF THE SHIPPER ORDER PULLER
Prepare daily pulls, re-label containers, and package all products with proper documentation for shipments. Continuous Improvement of processes and products are an ongoing function of this position.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain clean, orderly work area
- Production – Cartons packaged per day.
- Quality – Accurate and timely completion of shipping documents.
- Labeling and movement of packages.
- Operate a variety of lift trucks (stand-up and sit-down).
- Operates scale to weigh partial cartons in an effort to create full cartons for shipment.
- Perform inventory of boxes by location (cycle count).
- Stacks cartons on skids according to size of lots and shrink wrap skids after skid is complete.
- Required Hs Diploma/GED OR Relevant experience.
- Fluent in English (both strong verbal and written communication skills).
- Basic math
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to obtain a lift truck license
- Previous shipping experience preferred.
