JOB SUMMARY
Manage and oversee the operation and personnel of all phases of the water treatment process.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor of science degree in engineering or science and a minimum of four (4) years’ progressively responsible experience in the water treatment field, or graduation from high school or GED certification supplemented with two (2) years’ advanced education in engineering or related science and ten (10) years’ experience in the operation of a lime softening water treatment facility, of which five (5) years are at supervisory level; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.
Must possess a valid and unrestricted Class IV South Dakota Water Operator’s Certificate within one (1) year of hire.
Possession of a valid driver’s license is desirable.
