* Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field with 1-2 years of industry experience or 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
* Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructures

* AWS or other cloud experience
* Datadog monitoring or other industry standard monitoring solutions

Day-to-Day

Insight Global is assisting one of our large fast-food clients in identifying a Remote Network Systems Administrator for a 1-year contract position. This position is fully remote and will be working Tuesday through Thursday from 10am-9pm EST, 30 hours a week, and is expected to be on call for exceedingly rare occasions. This person should have extensive knowledge in Networking, Routing, and Switching as well as Fortinet Hardware or any other industry standards.
Day-to-Day
* Respond to and resolve service incidents in accordance with existing procedures and service level agreements during your scheduled shift
* Remediate alerts from monitoring tools that are generated from: firewalls, switches, access points, Datadog, and other internal services
* Monitoring the performance, metrics, and capacity of supported systems
* Identify issues with off-site hardware and work remotely with vendors/locations to resolve/replace the affected hardware
* Perform regular checks on monitored hardware and software
* Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of off-premise hardware
* Create and maintain information and documentation relevant to the Job's responsibilities
* Create and update tickets with 100% accuracy, following established procedures
* Additional duties as assigned by the Digital Technology Operations Manager such as documenting fixes or pulling data repots to determine patterns

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
