Primary Purpose:

To audit all Conventional loan closing documents executed by Borrower(s) for accuracy, and to ensure all BancorpSouth and FNMA/Investor requirements have been met

Principal Duties And Responsibilities:

Audit each loan closing file based on the product type to ensure it meets all product requirements and FNMA/Investor requirements. Each document is reviewed for correct information, signature, and date. Documents are compared to preliminary documents in Encompass to ensure documents have not been altered since they were approved prior to closing. Work with processors, closers and title companies to get any errors in closing documents corrected. Follow up until corrected documents are received. Make entries in mortgage systems, Encompass and NetTrax. When the audit is complete, send the loan file to the vault.

Job Specifications:

Need a detailed, focused individual that can review information, check figures and calculate totals easily. Capable of learning three mortgage software programs relating to position. Able to meet monthly deadlines, as well as daily audit quotas.
