This position is located with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, Beckman Center for Mental Health Services. This posting is for a school-based vacancy in McCormick County and will serve McCormick Elementary, Middle and High Schools.
Under general supervision, provides treatment services to children, adolescents and their families. Mental health services will be provided in a culturally competent manner, which will include but not be limited to, assessment, crisis management, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.
State Requirements: A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or related field.
Agency Requirements: Must qualify for credentialing and privileging as a mental health professional and in accordance with Quality Assurance standards and with concurrence by DMH Office of Quality Management.
