JOB SUMMARY:

The Cultivation Manager is responsible for the cultivation operations of the Craft Garden facility with emphasis on plant health, employee execution, accountability, and growth. Cultivation Manager oversees daily operations in accordance with Cultivation SOPs and company policy and procedure to ensure a productive facility, successful employee culture and happy plants.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other assignments, projects, and duties may be required:

  • Ensure all garden tasks are completed according to designated Cultivation schedule.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment.
  • Complete Metrc Duties required at the cultivation facility including plant inventory, harvesting, and transfers.
  • Coordinate delivery, pick-up, or drop of required product test samples.
  • Handle state inspections (MED, Pueblo County, PFD, CDPHE, etc.) as well as internal audits.
  • Work with compliance team to ensure facility is 100% compliant with all state regulations.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with vendors, customers, and employees.
  • Active engagement in plant health and monitoring throughout all stages of garden.
  • Communicate effectively, promptly, and comprehensively with upper management around garden health and employee engagement, issues, or problems.
  • Develop, maintain, and coordinate IPM program to ensure healthy and compliant facility.
  • Complete weekly comprehensive report on overall garden health, status, and weekly tasks accomplished.
  • Coordinate adjustments and corrections as needed to ensure the highest quality plant production possible.
  • Maintain and control uniform inventory and usage for employees.
  • Conducts safety and equipment training for all Garden employees.
  • Maintains and communicates to upper management an ongoing facilities maintenance/repair list.

EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • College degree (preferred)
  • Must be able to secure and appropriate work credentials from Colorado Department of Revenue, MED
  • OPC METRC Certification (required)
  • Previous IPM knowledge of products and treatment preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in the Cannabis industry (preferred)
  • 2+ years of employee and department management experience (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to use a computer, knowledge in Microsoft Excel preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
