Marketing Team Member Job at International Gourmet Foods Inc
The Marketing Team Member is responsible for supporting and assisting in the duties and needs of the Marketing department and its Coordinator. The Marketing Team Member will assist in the implementation aspects of IGF’s marketing plan including company branding documents, company websites, marketing materials, social media accounts, and events.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create, update, and communicate internal and external marketing materials in a variety of formats including digital, interactive, and print
- Edit, standardize, and provide editorial feedback on written documents produced by others
- Maintain an organized database via SharePoint and Microsoft 365 software for documents, design files, photos and videos
- Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies
- Produce and update website and internal training site content and marketing materials
- Maintain social media and company website content
- Assist with maintaining company initiatives and consistent company brand and image content
- Assist with product development, training, and market research
- Coordinate A/V, PowerPoint, and photography and videography setup during meetings and events
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors; answer inquiries, concerns, and complaints
- Determine customer, employee, and vendor needs and translate them to creative content ideas and concepts
- Measure success of marketing campaigns through research, analytics, and key performance indicators
- Collaborate with colleagues to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems
- Clearly and effectively communicate over the phone, via email, and text
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field preferably with an emphasis on writing and/or design (Communications, Marketing, English, History, Design, etc.)
- Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop); proficient in cloud-based computing and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Teams, and Word) and other technology skills, including use of email, multi-line phone system, and text
- Experience with audio and video editing; knowledge of filming and videography
- Experience in social media management for a business profile
- Excellent analytical, communication, data-entry, editing, and organization skills with keen focus on relationship building across departments and IGF Branches
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Creative; open to new ideas and concepts
- Proactive, quick-thinking, problem-solving approach to work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team—changing gears when required, whether multitasking or adapting working hours and up to 20% travel
- Project management experience or skills
- Bilingual communication skills
