Summary Coordinate the maintenance functions for the LaGrange and McCook facilities including the corporate office building, manufacturing building, storage buildings, parking garage and designated lots and landscaped areas.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned

• Maintain facility's internal and external environmental systems in efficient working order.
• Possess basic handyman proficiencies in the areas of carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC maintenance and repairs.
• Clean snow and debris from sidewalk and parking areas.
• Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance system for all environmental systems as well as emergency lights, alarms, fire extinguishers, air compressors and building lighting.
• Assist Facilities Leader with periodic inspections to ensure compliance with local and federal building, fire and safety codes.
• Assure a sufficient quantity of supplies and expendable tools are available at all times, including sourcing quotations and making recommendations for materials to be ordered.
• Ensure all machines, buildings and properties are properly equipped with appropriate safety devices.
• Advise and assist internal managers on best methods to receive and install new equipment and/or rearrangement of office space.
• Respond to fire and security alarm emergencies as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervise external vendors as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of a High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Five years related experience and/or training
