Maintenance/ Repair Technician Job at Kendrick Paint and Body Shops, Inc.
The purpose of the Maintenance/Repair Technician position is to ensure all aspects of our properties are in good repair. This position is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repair on facility equipment and property structures. This position will require knowledge of basic repairs to machines and building structures, electrical repairs, and air compressors. This position requires mental and manual dexterity, problem-solving skills, and outstanding communication skills to be able to work with employees to address facility issues. It requires a strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods. This is a supporting role to all shops to optimize productivity and safety throughout the company.
REQUIRED: experience with electrical and air compressor repairs
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Inspect and maintain buildings to ensure they are in the best possible condition and are consistent with health and safety regulations
- Prioritize and schedule repairs and maintenance at our facilities
- Use skills in plumbing, carpentry, and electricity to make repairs as needed
- General upkeep of the company air compressors and company machinery
- Ensure heating/plumbing systems preform to optimum functionality
- Upkeep of landscaping
- Respond quickly in the event of emergency
- Conduct maintenance of electrical systems
- Support the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
- Maintain heating/plumbing system to ensure functionality
- Hours will be Monday-Friday 8:00-6:00 with a 1-hour daily lunch.*
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
