Angel Fire Resort is currently accepting applications for Prep Cooks and Line Cooks for multiple restaurant venues across the resort. Dining options at Angel Fire Resort vary from café style, cafeteria style, indoor and patio dining, tacos/Mexican food, family casual dining, and fine dining.

Base Pay: $14-20 Hourly
Location: Various Resort Venues (High Volume Cantina, Pub, Fine Dining, Mountain Top Café)
Employee Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Job Category: Seasonal. Part Time or Full Time
Required Certs or Licenses Must have prior to first day of work-Food Handler Cert (www.nmfoodhandlers.com),
Attendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, flexible, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays
Environment: This is an indoor position which includes working in a hot kitchen. Must be able to stand for entire shift and regularly lift/carry 75lbs.
Minimum Age: 18
Estimated start date: Variety of start dates available from now through the upcoming season.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and cook food using fryers, ovens, stoves, grills, flat tops, salad (cold) stations and other kitchen equipment
- Follow recipes
- Prep and monitor level of food items
- Clean and sanitize work stations
- Prepare food items as ordered by guests
- Clean kitchens
- Wash dishes
- Strive to exceed customer expectations
Qualifications:
- NM Food Handlers Certification
- Follow safe food handling procedures
- Ability to multi-task
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knife skills preferred
- Experience as a cook is an advantage but not essential. Applicants must have a strong desire to learn from the Chefs, work hard, and create delicious food.
Housing: Limited employee housing is available by reservation. Employee housing is “dorm-style” and starts at $400/month. A list of local rental resources is available upon request.
