LG424 Purchasing and Vendor Management Job at Park University Adjuncts

Appointments are made on a term-by-term basis. Adjunct faculty are required to successfully complete an online Canvas LMS orientation course before being scheduled, as well as other training if required by the department. This is an on-site blended/hybrid course, students attend class in person 60% of the time and complete the remaining 40% online through Park’s Canvas Learning Management System. Local applicants only.

LG424 Purchasing and Vendor Management
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Logistics or a Master’s degree in a business related field with either (1) at least 18 credit hours of graduate level logistic courses or (2) five or more years of professional logistics management work experience directly related to the area of teaching responsibility.

Course Description:
A study of the procurement and contracting process including planning, developing and contracting for major systems. Topics include: purchasing policy and strategy, value, analysis engineering, quality assurance, make-or-buy decisions, principles of inventory management, institutional and government purchasing management.
