Duties/Responsibilities
This position is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Coordinating, scheduling and directing activities at the office; including maintaining calendar and making travel arrangements.
- Having knowledge and understanding of Sunshine Law with regards to communication, written documentation, and scheduling.
- Administrative functions including ordering and maintaining essential supplies, organizing and maintaining file system, prepare correspondence, prepare reports, answer phones, and greet visitors.
- Representing the Council at meetings and activities as directed to gather information and provide input on behalf of the Council.
Minimum Requirements
The minimum requirements for this position include:
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field AND three years of experience in administrative duties or related work experience. Legislative Administrator experience and/or training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be substituted for a degree
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
